Biwater Industries, (formerly Biwater Pipes), Clay Cross, 'The Big Wall'.

I was asked to build a replica section of a large wall which had two Clay Cross railway wagons displayed on top for many years.  The wall, which was demolished in June 2001 was built by George Stephenson in 1837, the model is approximately 12"x 10"x 6".

Peugeot 206 Rally diorama in 1/35th scale.

This diorama was built for a friend who requested a Rally scene featuring a 206.  The figures used in the diorama as spectators, are modified and converted Scalextric figures.  All of the figures used have had some type of modifications made to them, from removing old style racing helmets and changing clothing etc, to adding a camera to one of the spectator figures.

8ft x 4ft Star Trek The Next Generation Wall Mural.

This 8ft x 4ft wall mural depicting a Starscape & Star Trek The Next Generation Star Ships, was painted using a mixture of spray and brush techniques onto a board that had been previously fixed to the wall. The painting was for a friend, Paul Clark who is a huge Star Trek fan, (and by huge fan, I mean he is Big Fat & Ugly, and they are his good points). The mural was completed over a five day period using Cellulose/Acrylic spray & standard Acrylic paints. Paul's son Nigel then aged 12 is shown to give a comparison on size, (Nigel is no longer 12 years old, as this painting was completed a quite a few years ago

'Hazards of Electricity' diorama'.

The diorama is approximately 7 feet long, 21 inches wide and 21 inches high.  It was constructed in 00 gauge, as an aid to demonstrate the dangers of electricity to school children, and is displayed as part of a mobile exhibition which visits schools and other centers of learning throughout the region.  The diorama had to reflect the hazards & potential hazards of electricity in every day life, as illustrated in already existing information sheets from PowerGen, (which we used as a basis and guide to build the diorama).  We featured 16 different potential hazards, two more than the 14 shown in Powergen's information sheet.

Picture 1shows the entire diorama in place on its stand at the back of the bus, with other 'Hands on' learning aids to either side. I photographed the diorama before the 10mm acrylic protective screen and side supports were fitted, hence the gaps to each side of the display and to the backdrop, these are hidden with the screen in place. Photo's 2 - 3 show the diorama in different sections, more detail is visible in these photograph's.  Photo's 4 - 5 shows the diorama in different sections, more detail is visible in these photograph's. Photo's 6 - 9 shows close up detail.

Please note that non of the models, figures or dioramas featured in this gallery are for sale or can be ordered.
