The ruins were built  from bricks cast using Hirst Arts moulds.

Terrain Boards.

The pictures feature some of my 2" x 2" Polystyrene Game Boards. 

The 2ft x 2ft polysterene boards were purchased from a war games dealer, I then modified and customised the boards to suit my own requirements. 

Picture1... Swampland board.  Picture 2... Swampland between three small hills board.  Picture 3... Dry river bed board.  

Picture 1... Escarpment board.  Picture 2...Escarpment extension and River board.  Picture 3...Four of the boards joined together.

Watchtower Hill.

The pictures features a Watchtower sat atop a large hill.  

The Watchtower is from a German company called Noch who produce a range of terrain called Ziterdes, (Ziegler-Terrain-Design).  

The hill is made from a 4" block of Polystyrene which was hand carved into shape.  Fine surface filler was applied to the entire hill to add texture, the hill was then painted and dry brushed with lighter colours to suit.  Static Grass and Lichen was added to finish off the piece. The dimensions of the hill is approx 21" x 17" x 4".
